The Pocket Child Bristle (CB4) is designed for children ages 3–6. Five rings of fine, pure boar bristle tufts — all cut to one length — glide gently through fine young hair, easing out tangles with less tugging while distributing natural oils from root to tip for soft, shiny hair. The compact size fits small hands (and a diaper bag) perfectly.

At its heart is the iconic hand-made natural rubber cushion pad, which flexes softly over a sensitive scalp. Handcrafted with the same techniques Mason Pearson pioneered more than a century ago, it's the kind of brush that becomes a keepsake — and a lovely gift for a new sibling, birthday or baptism.

✦ Caring for your brush:
— Lift away loose hair after use with a cleaning brush or wide-tooth comb, working from the base of the bristles outward.
— To refresh, dip the cleaning brush in warm water with a few drops of gentle hand soap and work it through the bristles.
— Never soak or submerge your brush, and keep water away from the rubber cushion and handle.
— Avoid detergents, shampoos, and ammonia- or petroleum-based cleaners.
— Shake off excess water and let it dry bristles-down on a towel at room temperature, away from direct heat.
